Franklin, MA is about 16 miles from Pioneer Glass. The city is home to the country’s first library, an incredible distinction. It was also the first municipality in the US to be named after Benjamin Franklin, who donated 116 books to the libary to begin its collection. Franklin is also home to America’s father of public education, Horace Mann.
